Based Edgar Rice's 'A Princess of Mars', John Carter is a war-weary, former military captain who's inexplicably transported to Mars and reluctantly becomes embroiled in an epic conflict as the planet hovers on the precipice of collapse. With surprising new powers and forces John Carter battles and rises to become a heroic warrior.

'360 degrees of John Carter' on the Blu-ray discs give an incredible insight to the daily making of the film and features some comical bloopers. All versions of the Blu-ray and DVD carry an insightful bonus feature focusing on the origins of John Carter by Edgar Rice Burroughs and its influence on legendary filmmakers James Cameron and George Lucas, when developing their seminal works 'Avatar' and 'Star Wars' respectively.
